17.30 - A man dressed as a police officer started shooting people at a summer youth camp. Death toll so far: 80 85 human beings dead. Sadly, they expect that number will rise.

I have no firsthand knowledge about this, and that's why I will not write too much. Our news instances is doing a great job at spreading the word. Although I will say this:
Spread the love! Not for me. Not for yourself. For everyone that has been hurt by this terrible action!

Last week, we finished our demolition course. And I gotta tell you. This gives you a whole new perspective. Especially against movies. Now I have learned one thing: explosions in movies = bullshit.

But last week was fun. We were really lucky with the weather. Bluebird every day. (So my tan is pretty epic right about now). BBQ'ing very evening. Life was good.

Getting the chance to work with real explosives, like plastics(C-4), TNT and dynamite etc. is amazing. Watch how we do it in real life. And getting to be right next to 5kg of TNT when it explodes... Let me just say your body feels it!

But there was also two downsides to it.
1. Fucking loads of mosquito's big as never before.

Today, me and an army bud took a bicycle road trip. 85 km, or 52.8 miles if you prefer that, long. Now, my ass hurts like shit, and my entire body is so tired. Hurts just to move. Today was a big day. Today, I finally got my diploma. The diploma that shows that I'm a skilled carpenter. Got through 12 years in school and 2 years of apprenticeship. I actually felt a whole lot more proud getting it then I thought I would. Was pretty awesome.

Today, I got my new camera! It's looking even better than I was expecting. It's rather sexy actually. Of course I bought it used. I don't even know if you can get analogue cameras new anymore? Luckily this one looks good. Now I just need to go out and test it. Any wishes as to what I'm gonna test it on? Any models signing up?

Disturbed - Another way to die // On spotify here

Yesterday, the roof on Oslo Spektrum got blown off. That's how good the concert was. It truly was A taste of chaos.

For those who need a quick brief on A taste of chaos:
A tour containing four bands. Halestorm, Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Disturbed. Hard hitting concert, not for the faint hearted.

To be honest, I will have to say it makes my top 3 of concert experiences. And I've been to concerts with some kick-ass bands! I spent the evening with Monica, and I had a blast! Yesterday was the first time I've ever heard about Halestorm, so I had no real expectations to their performance. But they truly blew away my doubt even with the first song with a solid female vocal. Especially on A familiar taste of poison. One of the coolest women ever? Oh yes!

But of course, the highlight of the night was Disturbed! Their performance grew for every single song. I lost my voice somewhere along the middle. Did I care? No! Best song for me was probably Land of Confusion! Oh how I love they version of the timeless Genesis classic!

BigBang - Girl in Oslo

T'day I've only been messin' around. Went to this fundraiser concert/live radio stream in front of the town hall. They're having an 72-hour live radio stream to raise money for refugees. So far, in approximately 48 hours, they have raised 253.000 NOK! Which is a lot of money. And they still have 24 hours to go. I'm looking forward to see how much they manage to raise in the end. Between some of the stuff goin'on, I went up to Akershus fortress, and took some panoramic and HDR photos. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

After being awake a couple of hours, I see this news article posted on facebook. Which of course makes me go check it out. The headline? Nude woman found dead in schoolyard (article is in Norwegian). This is only some hundred meters from where I went to school. This gets me thinking.

Every now and then when I tell people I live basically in the middle of Oslo, they tell me how scared they would be going home in the late hours. But truth be told, I'd be more scared going home at night if I lived where my friends live. Maybe the rate for rapes is higher down here, but I feel like every time I read about a murder, or suspicious death, it's located in the outskirts of Oslo. Places like Holmlia, Stovner, Kalbakken etc. And after quickly browsing the front page, I found two more articles, about people being stabbed. Not where I live, but close to my friends.

This leads me to conclude that where I live is just as safe as any other place in this city. And this conclusion also supports my wish to get my own apartment in the middle of Oslo, and not just outside. Happy? Yes, I think so.

Today, I met up with an old friend of mine. Only for a couple of minutes, because she, and her friend, had to go somewhere. But it was good. Real good.

Half an hour before meeting up with up with them, I finally delivered my film from the lovely Lomography camera I have. 3 films delivered at Japan Photo. So stoked on seeing how all my photos have turned out.

And tonights the big event? David Guetta coming to town. At the moment I'm tired and not at the top of my game, but hopefully that will change when the event starts. I'm not sure exactly how this DJ-event-thing is working, but I sure hope he's mixin' it up with Commander (ft. Kelly Rowland).

I've had my carpenters examination this week!!

And to be honest, I'm pretty damn proud of myself! I never thought I could come this far, and almost complete the damn thing. Because the shack I built, happens to be twice the size of the normal test. Which makes me awesome. For today.

Today started of really bad. I'm so sick of putting in windows now. But my test is in one and a half week, so soon we'll see how things work out.

But after work me, Martin and Erik had a pretty sick diving board session. Finally I had the guts to try a running mollberger(gainer?) from the 3m platform. I stomped it to my feet. So stoked on that. So sad they don't allow filming anywhere!

Today, I was taking driving lessons. We were out from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. We had this safety course on how to drive under slippery conditions. Which of course was on track, soaked in water and a little oil. And I got to say it was one of the coolest things I've ever done!
And seeing as the other student I drove with was a beautiful asian, it couldn't have been much better.
